| Black Lake is located in upstate New York, approximately 2 hours north of Syracuse. Black Lake is of glacial origin it is over 20 miles long and is about 4 miles across at its widest point. It has a maxium depth of just over 40 feet but most of the lake is much shallower than that. The lake supports the following species of fish, northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, muskellunge, crappies, yellow perch, bluegills, rock bass, carp, catfish and brown bullheads Water flows into the lake from several sources, the largest being the Indian River. The lake drains into the Oswegatchie River and then into the Saint Lawrence River. |

It can comfortably and safely accomodate three anglers plus the guide. At 20 feet long and 98 inches wide it is very stable and safe. All tackle is provided, along with water, Gatorade, ice, sandwiches and snacks. |

| Captain Bob Flavin is a USCG Licensed guide for the St. Lawrence River. The Main bulk of our fishing takes place between Chippewa Bay and Waddington New York. Captain Bob ia also NYS Fishing guide on Klack Lake, the Oswegatchie River, Grasse River, Racquet River and some small lakes. We fish from a 2002 Starcraft Fishmaster 196 with a 2007 115 4 stroke Mercury. The best walleye fishing is right after opening of the season and again late fall. The best Smallmouth Bass fishing takes place from June through Fall. Smaller river fishing is fantastic with a ultra light pole some waters are under fished. Hit it right and you maybe able to catch and release 50 + smallmouth 8 to 12 inches in a couple mile stretch. Don't be surprise whem you hook that elusive walleye or musky. |
