City Island Fishing Charters And Party BoatsCity Island is part of the Bronx, NY. City Island is a small island about one and half miles long and half mile wide. City Island is located at the western end of Long Island Sound and it is south of Pelham Bay. The island has a pouplation of just under 5,000. Despite its location it still has the apperance of a small New England fishing village. City Island has several yacht clubs, marinas, party boats and charter boats. There are also many fine resteraunts and gift shops here as well. A visit to City Island is a good way to take a break from all of lifes daily hassels and just relax. |

We are available for tournaments, including the WICC Bluefish tournament and offer charters for one to six passengers. |
Sheepshead Bay Fishing Charters And Party BoatsSheepshead Bay is located in the Rockaway Inlet. It is one of the the most navigable inlets on the East Coast. Manhattan Beach is directly to the south of Sheepshead Bay, with Brighton Beach in the middle and Coney Island to the west. Sheepshead Bay is a wonderful place to dock a boat, beacuse you can get to great fishing in less than 5 minutes. You can also be fishing the deep blue off shore waters in less than thirty minutes. When time is as important issue this is a factor to consider. The Sheepshead Bay fishing fleet is comprised of about fifty boats, that are moored to the nine concrete piers along Emmons Avenue. Some of these boats take as many as two hundred passengers on fishing trips. The charge per adult passenger ranges from 24 dollars to 40 dollars. Most boats have a cheaper rate for children and seniors. Boats leave at six, seven, and eight in the morning, and at midnight. The number of party boats working these waters has been in the decline for the last 10 years. Parking is one of the biggest problems that face the customers of the party boats. Plan on getting there a couple hours early so you can aquire a parking spot you dont want to be left standing on the dock. |

Jamaica Bay Fishing Charters And Party BoatsJamaica Bay is a large body of water and salt marsh area covering 26 miles on the south shore of Long Island. John F. Kennedy Airport borders the bay on it's eastern end, and the bay it's self separates the peninsula of the Rockaways from the main part of Long Island. The western end of the bay is open to the Atlantic Ocean at the Rockaway Inlet. Jamaica Bay ranges in depth from 3 to 12 feet, but has been dredged for navigation and can be up to 50 feet deep in spots, but on average depth is less than 10 feet deep. Due to the shallow nature of the bay it warms very quickly in the spring and is a magnet to all species of fish and birds alike. Some of the fish you may encounter on a trip to the bay include Fluke, Stripers, Weakfish, Bluefish, Bonito, Spanish Mackerel, Tautog, Seabass, False Albacore and Skipjack Tuna. |

Montauk Fishing Charters And Party BoatsMontauk is located at the far eastern end of Long Island. It is about 125 miles east of New York City. Montauk is New York State’s largest commercial fishing port. This region is known as one of the sport fishing capitals of the world. It is home to over 25 current world records. The waters of Long Island Sound flow into the Atlantic Ocean at Montauk and bring in vast amounts of bait and nutrients. This attracts great schools of Striped Bass, Bluefish and Fluke. Since Montauk is all ready so far out in the ocean it makes it the closest port to the canyons and the gulfstream. This in turn creates a fantastic fishing opportunity for off shore trips for tuna, shark, and marlin. If the water is too rough for off shore fishing the in shore fishing is always great. During an in shore fishing trip anglers may encounter the following species Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke, Porgies, Sea Bass, and Flounder. Growing to 70 pounds the STRIPED BASS is a match for any angler. The largest ever caught on the WINDY was a 67 pound whopper. That's a fish of a lifetime. The average fish we bring in is about 18 pounds, perfect filleting and eating size. On most trips we land one or two in the 30 pound range and ever year we catch a few in the 40's. | The Viking Star is 104' long, she is licensed to carry 149 passengers. She was designed and built by Captain Paul Forsberg to navigate and fish the waters of Montauk in comfort. We have 110 rod holders at the rail, the rails are heated for your comfort in the winter time. She is equipped with a full galley and tackle store. Hot meals and hot beverages are available for purchase during your trip. Indoors in our heated and spacious 65 foot cabin we have seating for 72 passengers. Outdoors we have seating for 75 people on the top observation deck and 76 people on the main fishing deck. There is also plenty of space to accommodate your coolers. When we are offshore fishing we have 44 bunks and there is a hot shower room available. The pilot house is equipped with top of the line technology, to help our USCG licensed Captain's find you fish! |
