| Chautauqua Lake is located in western NY. The lake is just under 20 miles in length and is one of the best warm water fisheries in the state. It is well know for trophy muskellunge fishing. It also has fantastic fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, perch, and crappies. The lake is divided into 2 sections. The northern section has an average depth of around 25 feet and a maximum depth of 75 feet. The southern section is much shallower, with a maximum depth of 19 feet and on average is 10 feet or less. |
