Pictured here is Captain Chuck Graham of Angler Charters with an awesome Hudson River striped bass. On April 29th, 2001 while drifting with live bait just north of the Kingston bridge we boated this amazing striped bass. That same morning we hooked up with three other large fish but broke off on two of them. The fish in this photo tied the existing inland record of 54 lbs 6oz. Since then a new record of 55 lbs was set, but we entered the record books for the largest striped bass from New York inland waters for the 2001 season.

   Captain Chuck Graham has been fishing the waters of the North Atlantic for the past 30 years both inshore and offshore, from Provincetown MA on Cape Cod to Cape May NJ. Fishing both commercially and as a charter boat captain.

   Our season starts in April fishing the Hudson River for Striped Bass from Saugerties, NY. We will use a variety of methods to catch these spring run fish by using Live Herring, Chunk Bait, Live Eels and Bunker. The Hudson River spring fishing last until mid June.

   Starting in mid June and lasting through November we will be sailing from Staten Island, NY. Fishing inshore for, Striped bass- Bluefish- Weakfish- Fluke- Seabass- Blackfish and Porgies. Also weather permitting light offshore trips out to 35 miles for Sharking and Tuna.

  Every spring the Hudson River offers anglers a chance to catch a trophy striped bass. Shad fishing is also a fun and exciting option as well.
