Bill's dad explained to him that if he should feel a tug on the line, to call him and lift up on the rod to set the hook. As soon as he turned his back to set up the next young fisherman, Billy calls out that he has one pulling on the line. He dropped the line that he was setting up, but by that time Billy had already landed it and was walking away from the pond up toward the car. Billy was ecstatic, jumping all around, and the other young anglers wanted me to hurry up, so that they could catch one also. Unfortunately, that Sunny was the only one Billy caught, but it was the first and the largest out of all caught the fish caught that day. Billy will never forget his first fish.
