 Pictured here is Bob Cieslak otherwise known as Musky Bob. He was fishing in Black River Bay with a couple of friends. They were trolling a Rapala Husky Jerk in 12 feet of water when they hooked this fantastic 33 and half inch Northern Pike. After a quick photo the fish was released unharmed. Black River Bay Fishing

 The Black River has it start in the Adirondack Mountains and flows over 120 miles to the north and west until it flows into lake Ontario forming the wonderful jewel known as Black River Bay.

 The Black River offers fishing for trout, walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass. smallmouth bass, perch, bluegill, bullhead, and carp. The river also receives runs of trout and salmon from Lake Ontario during the fall and winter.

 The NY state record Burbot was caught in the Black River Bay by Terrance B. Colwell on 02/14/91 it weighed an amazing 16 lb. 12 oz.
